Started off the day right with Chick-Fil-A…I don’t know if this is specific to the Sacramento chapter, but Chick-Fil-A is leagues above their competition in terms of not only taste, but also in customer service. Much appreciated.
Nick (Sole Collector) came by to follow up on the interview he conducted with us on opening day back in November (disclaimer: I walked into the interview after working for literally about 40 hours straight, save 45 mintues for Thanksgiving dinner).
Afterwards we headed over to one of the area’s newest spots, the Shady Lady Saloon, a really impressive bar (Located on 14th and R).
Hoyle is luke warm on the drink menu…let’s head to a classier joint…
Off to the Walnut Room…nothing says “refined” like a steel door entrance blocked by an old man doing incline chair pushups at 1 am.
Imagine yourself in this seat…now imagine Shalamar blasting from the jukebox in the background.
French brand A.P.C., Atelier des Production et de Creation, created by Jean Touitou (who maintains a rad Honeyee blog by the way), is one of the world’s top clothing brands, especially in the realm of denim.
A.P.C. selvage denim is now available at Lucky Lefty’s.
Thanks to everybody who made it out to the show on Saturday night. C Plus, JoEL, Nicatyne, and Illecism all ripped it. Here are a few shots from the night.
Somehow, I forgot to post pictures of the MASH team tearing up the AMGEN Tour of California a while back, but luckily cycling is a year-round international grind. Here are some great photos from our friend Mike Martin (MASH) at the Alltrack 09 event in New Zealand last week. The event was put on by Qubic and Red Bull.
Benny Gold designed some dope shirts to commemorate the trip.
The new music video from Japanese Cartoon, a project which features Le Messie (FALSE) and Percival Fats (who may-or-may-not-be-but-probably is Lupe Fiasco). The video reminds me a lot of Toshio Matsumoto.
