Starting around middle school, I’ve been on a continuing quest to find good late night eating spots in this city. I was recently introduced to Sarang Bang, a Korean restuarant in North Sac.
While there are many places to eat in Sacramento, there aren’t too many dine in options for night owls like myself…especially a place where a group of friends can eat, watch Korean variety shows, and drink soju at 1 AM.

It’s not the most appropriate dish for 100+ degree weather, but the soon du bu jiigae is my ish.

Check this place out if you’re in the area.

Mama, I made it…after spending 81% of my life in California’s public education system, I graduated from the University of California yesterday. Years of social awkwardness, developing extremely poor sleeping habits, and general angst come to an end (but not really).

The picture is a bit blurry, but she clearly killed it.

The bald guy pointed out here is a counselor for the Letters and Science Dean. A nice little side story – I was called into his office this past school year after a slight dip in my GPA. He proceeded to tell me that I was “stupid” for running this type of business, I had to be “an idiot” for opening any business in this economy, I should get a “real job”, and finally that he didn’t think that I “would make it in school or business.” I drove from his office to the Crest Theater where we sold out the main theater for our screening of Macaframa. I just want to tell you Mike – thank you.

The High Life installation went up yesterday at the shop.

Papes and Brian checking things out

Tim Mar and company proving that you can’t live the High Life without lawn chairs.

The Hibachi is a must.

Thank you to everyone who made it out. New Lucky Lefty’s tees will be available starting this week.

This Saturday. Reception starts at 5:00 pm.
