around every 4th of July I like to take a moment to appreciate individuals who have, over time, helped mold the foundations of Americana.

I’m pretty sure that President Kennedy once said, “A nation reveals itself not only by the men it produces but also by the men it honors, the men it remembers.” All too often, we take these individuals for granted, and as evidenced by recent events, only recognizing their impact post-mortem. Well I say, “f*ck that.”
