We spent the better part of last week in Las Vegas at Magic/S.L.A.T.E. You are guaranteed three things at these shows: Quasi-celebrity sightings, monetary/memory loss, and a sneak peak into the future of streetwear. You sort of become Desmond from Lost.

The next few In4mation collections are very strong. Fans of the brand should be excited for some of their best cut and sew offerings to date, along with classic In4mation styles.

Our NorCal neighbor Alex Valdman (HomeRoom) made it to LV to check things out for a bit.


While wondering around Mandalay Bay, we ran into a old classmate, who happened to be working for none other than Rick Ross. This isn’t the former correctional officer/rap artist that most of the current public recognizes, but rather the actual infamous drug trafficker, “Freeway” Ricky Ross. After being originally sentenced to life in prison in the 1990s, a federal court of appeals drastically reduced his sentence after learning of the connection between Freeway’s source and the CIA, a cog in the Iran-Contra affair. The 49-year-old Ross, since released, has been a free man for nearly five months now.


Johnny Dang aka TV Johnny showed us some examples of the necessary, sound investments many Asian Americans make during these times of economic distress.
