Halloween is more than a one night event for us here at Lucky Lefty’s. The week of Halloween was, by far, my favorite time of the year as a kid…Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Goosebumps, Tales From the Crypt, Faces of Death, and Vincent Price movie marathons all week long…Halloween Havoc, Treehouse of Horror, Elvira…you get the picture.

We are continuing the Halloween festivities this Thursday with The Parade of Terribles Halloween ride.

The ride starts in front of the shop at 7:00 pm. Costumes are highly encouraged, as free giveaways and prizes will go to those with the best and worst.

Yesterday we made it out to W-Base Bicycle Garage to visit the crew. These guys have been pushing BMX and fixed gear riding at their shop in Harajuku going on five years now.

Rob is leaving this week on a long drive across the Great Plains into Iowa for the 2009 Register’s Annual Great Bicylcle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI). It’s a 472 mile tour across Iowa, ending at the Mississippi River. Starting next week, follow Rob’s journey with Team Bag Balm here and on Twitter.
